I have 4 quests and 2 of them are equiped with a battery expansion. One has the rebuff battery expansion, the second has the NiVRana battery expansion, so i can compare the two. I'm very satisfied with the NiVRana, as it does the job perfectly. It charges the quest while playing (as it should) and makes it possible to play for instance - Demeo - without having to quit before the game ends because the headset power runs out.
Of course the rebuff does the same, BUT my rebuff has one major flaw. When you turn everything off and put away the headset with the battery ATTACHED, it will drain all the power from the headset overnight, so the next day you can't play. This bug is NOT in the NiVRana batterypack, which i keep connected all the time. So in my eyes the NiVRana batterypack is better than the rebuff batterypack. Even more, the price is cheaper AND the delivery time is a lot faster. I love this product.

Had a couple over for game night. I had my new VR to show off. After showing my wife and friend and letting them play a few games 2 1/2 hours later the headset ran out of charge. I wasn’t able to show the other person. A week later I bought this power pack for the headset. It works great. Now I have 8 hours of charge time. I won’t be restricted by time again. Now everyone can play.

I am very happy with the battery pack. There is one problem that may be peculiar to me though and that is that I have fitted the bag to the bottom strap. When I fitted it as per the instructions, the pack felt as if it wanted to come off my head when I was doing a lot of head movements. Fitting the pack on the lower part of the head band made it feel a lot better for me. It does flop about slightly but I prefer it that way. I usually play Elvin Assassin up to 5 or 6 hours on a Friday night with friends, and this has been a god send not having to plug in the charger cable.
I did originally look at the VR Power pack, and although it is sleek looking and looks like it belongs on the head set, it is more expensive. Both battery packs have the same power output, so the difference is aesthetic only. I have sent a link to all my Elvin Assassin friends and one other person has bought the pack, and is very happy. Another friend is also very interested. I have not had any correspondence with the rest lately, but for long playing games such as Elvin Assassin it is brilliant.

When I first received my NiVRana battery I had a few issues. I immediately reached out to the customer support who were fantastic in every way. They sent me a replacement which worked perfectly. I never have to worry ever about dropping out of a game of echo or population one due to low battery. It has changed the way I play poker as well not having to be tethered is a godsend and I rarely get down to even 50% battery power.
The way it recharges when plugged in whilst still charging headset is awesome. So clever.

Works as advertised. LED lets you know how much energy is left in the battery. It is able to keep up with the Oculus quest even during gaming in multiplayer!!!

Quadruples (at least) playtime before needing to charge my Oculus Quest and really adds to overall comfort in terms of a counterbalance. Very easy to attach and looks sleek as well.
Overall a great purchase that is definitely worth spending the extra ~$10 as opposed to just getting a standard battery bank of comparable size and attaching it via your own means.

It's amazing that now I can play 8 hours straight with nothing morr than a red face when I come out. My headache now comes from staring at the screen, NOT from the front heavy Quest itself, thanks to doubling as a counterweight.
Okay so two gripes though: First, it can sometimes discharge on it's own, so watch out for that. Ensure it is flat and the cord isn't in it when not in use. Also you should have the Quest fully charged at the start too. And use the higher amp output for less janky play. But I did notice the picture DOES have it set up that way after trying the lower one so...My fault there. And AFTER A FEW USES for whatever reason the battery pack seemes to "break in" and provide a consistent 8 hours every single time (After only 6 the first - Maybe it's one of those batteries the needs one full discharge before it can hit the full potential on the charges after - a warm up, per say.)
The other bigger issue is how the thing snaps on. The battery is secure but it's heft, while a good thing in this case, means it's weight it thrown around. It won't stay centered on the back! So I always have to shift it back to center.
Why it's REALLY not 5 star: The snaps should go around the straps that connect the headband to the middle strap, not the headband strap itself. It would be MUCH more secure that way...
